On July 1, 2020, SEA 340 went into effect making a small change to Indiana Code 32-21-2-3(a), but creating a big impact on the execution of all recordable documents. The program will review the requirements of a common law proof, and discuss the logistics involved in execuring both a notarized acknowledgment and a common law proof for the same document whether the signor is in your office or out of town.
